This six-week series is an International College of Ministry course for Christian Counseling majors but may be taken with other majors.

This vital new course will give robust solutions to counseling cognitive distortion. You will learn about this prevalent issue that often leads to self-sabotaging behavior. Christian counseling can help us see what we can't see and evolve into the person God has called us to be. In this course, you will learn how to counsel individuals to achieve a more fulfilling life by understanding and addressing cognitive distortions.

The Bible contains numerous counseling concepts which can be used to help individuals and counselors. The Bible is not a "rulebook" but a life book containing guiding principles from God, who knows how to preserve and get the best out of us. The Creator knows how to get the maximum potential from His creation.

Instructor BIO:

Dr. Sandrew Wright II refers to himself as a "Treacher." Dr. Sandrew is a Spirit-filled teacher and preacher who has boldly declared God's Word since childhood. He is a proud FSU alumnus holding a doctorate in Ministry and Christian Counseling from the International College of Ministry. He and his wife, Dr. Jenna, currently serves at Gracepointe Church in Hernando, FL, and the Ark Church in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Sandrew is also an erudite Christian Counselor and has been counseling pastorally since 2014.

Dr. Sandrew is called "The Counselor to Counselors" or the "Pastor's Counselor." Dr. Sandrew has counseled and consulted pastors from various walks of life and denominations for nearly a decade. Dr. Sandrew has also preached internationally at crusades in Central America and Europe. Gifted with a heavy apostolic and prophetic anointing, Dr. Sandrew is dedicated to making the Word plain and practical. Whether you have been to Jail or Yale, you will love Dr. Sandrew's no-nonsense and practiced approach to the Word.
