Counseling Sexual Addiction v2VID - Counseling Sexual Addiction

Course Number: CC 5043-30
Counseling Sexual Addiction, ICM Course
Category: Christian Counseling
VID - Video Course
Credit Hours: 3hrs

We know about the infamous sex offenders, politicians and Hollywood celebrities in trouble, the sex slave trade in other countries but that’s not where we live. Is it? A 2014 survey by the Barna Group revealed that 64% of self-identified Christian men and 15% of self-identified Christian women view pornography at least once per month (compared to 65% of non-Christian men and 30% of non-Christian women). Sounds like an epidemic both in and outside of the church!

The bible is clear about the God designed relationship between man and woman. Genesis 2:18-25. And what it’s not intended to be. Romans 1:26-27. We’ll look at the biblical commands and principles, applying them to sexual addiction. Discover the origins of the “sexual revolution” which actually lead our world into sexual anarchy. Learn useful tools that help identify if someone has a sexual addiction and the nature of its origin. Gain the resources needed to help them in their recovery, restoration, and ultimately foster their deliverance. This six-week series promises to be useful for counselors as well as anyone who may know someone with a sexual addiction. Come join in and invite your friends.

Counseling Sexual Addiction by James Drake is an in-depth study of sexual addiction for the Christian Counselor. This timely course will be fascinating because of the depth of information presented on a topic that’s rarely discussed from the pulpit. The student will study key issues and answers from a Holy Spirit directed viewpoint. This is an important course for all counseling majors and for personal enrichment or healing.

Counseling The Counselor v2VID - Counseling the Counselor

Course Number: CC 4050-30
Counseling the Counselor, ICM Course
Category: Christian Counseling
VID - Video Course
Credit Hours: 3hrs

This new course by ICM will focus on ministering to the needs of church leaders. Pastors and church leaders are targeted by many schemes of the devil. Pastors and leaders get criticized, abandoned and talked about. It can be a very lonely place being a leader of the church. To minster to a leader takes a different set of counseling skills than the typical counseling session.

Many pastors seem to have no here to go for help and no one to turn to. If the Pastor is wounded he can hurt his entire congregation. The devil does everything in his power to illegitimize and discredit pastors and leaders.

Dr. Joe Warner is the Pastor of Freedom Fellowship Church. He has been ministering to church leaders from around the US and other nations sold over 25 years.

Dr. Ray Self has a doctorate in Christian Psychology and has trained and counseling in the Christian arena for 17 years.

This is an informative and exciting course on how to minister effectively to the leaders of churches.

Removing Blockages to Transformation v2VID - Removing Blockages to Transformation

Course Number: CC 5150-30
Removing Blockages to Transformation, ICM Course
Category: Christian Counseling
VID - Video Course
Credit Hours: 3hrs

This course was recorded during in ICM Live Web Class in ICM's virtual classroom.

In Removing Blockages To Transformation we will delve into the reasons why so many people in the body of Christ are confounded, hindered and resisted in their spiritual growth. One anecdote was to tell them to just buck up and get over it. These believers desperately want to do just that but they are at a loss as to exactly how to break through their impasse and begin moving forward again.

Removing Blockages To Transformation will present and define key battlefronts that need to be identified and conquered for the believer who is serious about becoming a completely new creation in Christ. The two battlefronts we will study are Emotional Oppression and Spiritual Oppression. We will look at several modern counseling and deliverance models from proven ministries to address these two areas through the application of Inner Healing (i.e. healing of memories) and Personal Spiritual Warfare.

Removing Blockages To Transformation is a six-lesson course presented by Pastor Rick Bopp, of Jacksonville, Florida. Pastor Rick draws from the Word of God and experience gathered from over ten years in pastoral ministry and counseling. He obtained his Masters of Christian Theology Degree from ICM. Pastor Rick's thesis was on the subject of techniques for breaking though into personal freedom in the Christian life. His background in communications helps Him to enhance his presentation with many visual aid and illustrations.
