We all have experienced some degree of brokenness living in a fallen world. Psalm 147 says "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds”. Isaiah 61 tells us Jesus was anointed to preach the Good News and was sent to heal the brokenhearted. This ministry is so critical that the Word of God specifically points out Jesus was sent to heal the brokenhearted.

The condition of our heart affects every area of our lives making this ministry vital to each and every one of us. Without the healing of the broken heart, a person will find it difficult to maintain freedom and will feel stuck often not knowing why. In this course, we will learn how to recognize and minister to the brokenhearted and see we too are sent to heal the brokenhearted.

You will have questions each week to think about and answer as you look within your own heart, asking, "Does my heart beat in unison with the heartbeat of Jesus when it comes to loving people?"

About the Teacher:

Dr. Paul Jackson is a pastor, educator, evangelist, and author with the purpose of loving God and doing good. He has 41 years of experience as a pastor, missionary, leader, and evangelist and has visited the countries of India, New Zealand, Lithuania, France, and Rwanda.

He earned his Ph.D. in religious studies at Trinity Theological Seminary, a master's in ministry and evangelism at Abilene Christian University and a bachelor's in the bible at David Lipscomb University.
