Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Study Questions:

Man experienced something that no other created being experienced. What was that and explain why that is significant?
Explain why Satan holds such intense hatred against mankind.
List three ways from this lesson that Satan wages war against the church - the body of Christ.
What role are the believers in Christ called to fulfill against Satan and his dark kingdom?

Luk 10:18 And he said unto them, "I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."

Eze 28:17 "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you."

Eze 28:16 By the abundance of your trade You were internally filled with violence, And you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane From the mountain of God. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire.

Pro 11:13 He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets, But he who is trustworthy conceals a matter.

Eph 2:2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.

Study Questions:

Lucifer made five declarations. What were they?
Lucifer’s final declaration was, “I will make myself like the Most High.” Notice, he does not say he is like God, but instead says he will “make himself” like God. Why is this claim significant?
Eze 28:12 tells us God made Lucifer “full of wisdom and perfect in beauty,” as a warrior in the Kingdom of God, why would you do well to remember this?
Because of his perfect beauty, Lucifer believed he deserved each of his five declarations. Now that he’s fallen, do you think Satan still believes he deserves them?

Psa 91:11 – "For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."

Mat 12:23 All the crowds were amazed, and were saying, "This man cannot be the Son of David, can he?"
Mat 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "This man casts out demons only by Beelzebul the ruler of the demons."
Mat 12:25 And knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself will not stand."
Mat 12:26 "If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand?"
Mat 12:27 "If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason they will be your judges."

Rev 12:11 "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death."
Rev 12:12 "For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time."

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Mat 8:9 "For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."

Eph 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Col 2:15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.

Study Questions:

List 5 things about the Kingdom of God, the kingdom of darkness, or the three heavens that you learned from this lesson.
During the battle of second heaven described in Dan 10:13, what does the spirit prince of Persia do to Archangel Gabriel for twenty-one days?
Ephesians 6:12 tells us we fighting principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places. In this lesson, you learned that principalities are a lower level of heaven’s government and you belong to the Throne level with Christ. How does learning this affect your understanding of this verse?
According to this lesson, explain why Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
