For years, theologians and Bible scholars have debated something called The Gap Theory. Gap theorists, as they’re called, point to an unknown period of time or a “gap” between Genesis Chapter 1, verses 1 and 2. This gap solves a discrepancy between the traditional six-day creation and scientific evidence from fossil records, archeological finds, and geological discoveries. Additionally, the Gap Theory also solves what appears to be conflicts between certain verses in God's Word. However, traditional six-day theorists have compelling arguments against it.
In this one-hour special presentation, we look at both sides of the debate.
