Reasons to Share the Gospel
To Bring Glory to God:
1 Corinthians 10:31 - Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
People Are Lost:
2 Corinthians 4:4 - The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Unbelievers Are Being Judged:
John 3:18 - He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
We Have Been Given a Ministry:
As ambassadors of Christ we have been given a ministry - 2 Corinthians 5:18 - Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
We Are Not Ashamed:
Romans 1:16 - I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.
Matthew 28:19 - Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
Because You Want to Tell Others About What God Has Done in Your Life:
Psalm 96:2-3 - Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
Luke 8:39 - "Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you." So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him."
Because You Love People:
Matthew 9:36 - Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.
Matthew 9:37 - Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few."
Jesus commanded us to share the gospel - Mark 16:15 - And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."
The end of this world and the creation of a new heaven and earth is dependent upon us sharing the gospel.- Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come."
Jesus will return - Revelation 1:7 - BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
Because we should want everyone we know to have eternal life. - John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
Because there is joy in heaven when we share the gospel. - Luke 15:7 - "I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance."
