A Message From ICM's President, Dr. Ray Self

As we enter a new decade, I want to express my gratitude to our many students and excellent staff in anticipation of another academic year that will glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.

The International College of Ministry continues to equip men and women for the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ all over the United States and in several nations. Our motto has always been "Spirit and Truth." That means we teach the truth from the word of God but still allow the Holy Spirit to be our leader.

At the International College of Ministry, we continue our work to keep our tuition costs extremely low compared to other accredited seminaries. We never refuse someone who has a financial hardship.

Additionally, we also support persecuted pastors in India through our Southern India campus. We have schools in Liberia and Peru. It is truly an exciting time to be serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

As a 501c3, the International College of Ministry relies on donations from our supporters such as yourself. All donations to this ministry are tax-deductible and help build the Kingdom of God and honor the Lord Jesus Christ.

Even though the end-of-year season of giving is behind us, ICM continues to need your help. Please consider partnering with us through a monthly or one-time donation. Your contribution will help us continue to equip Christian counselors, pastors, evangelists, and missionaries. ICM has three donation programs to choose from: Pay-it-Forward, Hardship/Scholarship, and Sponsorship. (Details Below)

An exciting feature of our online campus is our new “Student Lounge," which is our own social media platform. Students can post and interact with each other, ICM’s staff, or with guidance counselors ready to assist students with their studies. Students can also participate in theology and counseling discussions.

ICM has many exciting programs; one of them is called "Study Now and Enroll Later." If you are considering becoming a student but want to test the waters, check out this exciting program below.

I pray that you will walk in the favor and authority of Christ in 2020!

ICM Depends on Your Continued Support

One third (1/3) of ICM students request and receive financial assistance in the form of scholarships, sponsorships, and discounted or pre-paid expenses.

At ICM, we believe no student should be denied their call because of insufficiency.

Kingdom finances are not like the world's. At any given time, some will be in a season of abundance. This is God's provision to insure Kingdom needs are met.

If you are in a season of abundance, please consider giving to one of ICM's financial support programs listed below.

Pay-It-Forward: This program pre-pays expenses such as textbooks, registrations, enrollment fees, and graduation cap & gowns.

Hardship / Scholarship: This program pays all or part of a student's tuition.

In September 2013 Liberty Church-Arab became one of the many campuses of International College of Ministry with Drs. Forrest and Lisa VanSandt as campus directors.  Since that time the campus has had approximately 40 ICM students working toward various degrees with 15 graduates. While that may seem like a small amount of students, Arab is a small rural town – but it is alive and growing!

A Message From ICM's President, Dr. Ray Self

It has been a challenging season for ICM, much like millions of other people and companies around the world. During this challenging season, I have to give praise to God because we have continued to operate and enroll new students. Our webinars have been inspiring and very well attended. My Facebook Live broadcast on every Tuesday morning at 9:30 has been very popular. During this pandemic, we have actually experienced growth. We have been able to pay staff and other obligations. This ministry belongs to the Lord, and it is His responsibility to be our provider as long as we practice good stewardship.

I am very grateful for our committed staff. Dr. Steve Wittmann has been a faithful servant of this ministry for years and keeps all technology up and going. He has been my right-hand man, my brother and my best friend. Amy Grubb has done an excellent job as Finance Director. Amy has faithfully taken on that responsibility and worked diligently with the students to help them with their financial issues. Priscilla Yamin is our administrator handling grades and records. She is a completely faithful servant of the Lord. I am especially grateful for our campus directors, Dr. Terrie Reid in Memphis, Dr. Lisa and Forrest VanSandt in Alabama, and our satellite campus directors Dr. John Davis in South Carolina, Dr. Geraldine Rush in Mississippi and Pastor Eric John's in Buffalo, New York. My prayers always go our to our India Campus under the direction of Pastor Cheruvi David. And finally, a big shout-out and welcome to our newst staff member, Melissa Caldie. In April of this year, Melissa became ICM's new Marketing Director. Melissa lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming with her Air Force husband. She brings a wealth of experience and will be a terrific addition to our ministry.

I have always believed that you can tell when God is in something when it is bigger than you. ICM is much larger than us; therefore, God gets the glory. I look forward to continued growth and fruit as our graduates work diligently to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

An Interview with ICM Alumni, Dr. Mary Green

ICM: With us today, we have ICM alumni and guidance counselor, Dr. Mary Green. Welcome Dr. Green and thank you for participating in this interview. Perhaps we could start off with what degree you earned from ICM and what year you graduated.

Dr. Green: I have three degrees from ICM: a PHD in Ministry, a PHD in Christian Counseling, and a Doctor of Divinity having graduates in 2011, 2018, and 2019 respectively.

ICM: And now you use your equipping as ICM's guidance counselor to assist students with their degree programs?

Dr. Green: That's right — I was offered the guidance counselor position in 2019.

ICM: What brought you to ICM back in 2011?

Dr. Green: I first heard of ICM through a former graduate. Their testimony impressed me. But of course, it wasn't the testimony alone that inspired me to enroll.

With so many other educational institutions in Memphis, the ICM Memphis campus has found its place and serves as an integral part of the educational landscape offering the various ecclesiastical degrees in an economical fashion. Students love that fact their payments are done within a year as well as their coursework.

The ICM Memphis Campus is probably the oldest campus; it was inherited by Dr. Terrie Reed from Dr. Nina Gardner and Dr. Ray Self. The exchange happened in March 2010 after Dr. Reed came on as Campus Director. The campus has gone through ups and downs, but it remains as a stable campus. The classes are held at Limit Breaker Church (formerly Rock Church) located at 6720 E. Raines Road in Memphis, TN.
