Law vs. Grace 255x225 01VID - Law vs. Grace

Course Number: TH 2068-30
Law vs. Grace, ICM Course
Category: Theology & Ministry
VID - Video Course
Credit Hours: 3hrs

If you are facing problems that seem to have no logical solutions; if you find yourself struggling and most often find it difficult to grow in faith; if you wonder how God views your life as to whether it is right or wrong in His eyes; if you find yourself constantly looking for God’s approval; if you deal with, condemnation, guilt, unworthiness, inferiority, and/or shame; chances are you have been living the Christian life under the weight of laws or an undisciplined life.

Are you ready to live in the abundant life that Jesus died and was resurrected for? The Bible tells us, "And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ."(John 1:16-17) Many believers seem to never come into a place in their life where they live in the freedom that God's still amazing grace has provided. For one group of believers it is due to the religious laws that they hold to, while other believers live undisciplined lives, doing whatever pleases them and call it grace. As we see in these two examples, although a reality in most sectors of the church today, neither are a true reflection of grace.

This course is presented by Dr. Barry E. Slimm. Dr. Slimm is a graduate of ICM, the Dean of Academics at ICM, a published Author and Lead Pastor of Faith Covenant Church, Quakertown, PA.

Overcoming Guilt & Shame, ICM Course
Category: Theology & Ministry
VID - Video Course
Credit Hours: 3hrs

This six-lesson series is an International College of Ministry course for theology, ministry, or Christian Counseling majors alike.

There is a concept that is rarely dealt with in the church or seminaries today and that is the understanding between guilt and shame. Our Lord told us that the fields are ready for the harvest but the workers are few. After 40 years of public ministry I have realized that this concept of guilt and shame has indeed paralyzed many in the body of Christ.

We will study this in depth as we walk through the Word of God and examine the lives of Adam and Eve, Moses, and others to see how we are to approach this most important subject. We will learn what God is saying to us and learn how to apply it in our lives. If we do not escape the trap set before us, we will find ourselves limited in our ability to serve Our Lord.

Join us as we go into the depth of God’s Word and glean precious truths that will bring us all life changing freedom.

Rise, Fall, and Rise of Mankind 255x225 01VID - The Rise, Fall, and Rise of Mankind

Course Number: TH 2083-30
The Rise, Fall, and Rise or Mankind, ICM Course
Category: Theology & Ministry
VID - Video Course
Credit Hours: 3hrs

Living & Moving in the Prophetic is taught by ICM's Dean of Theology, Dr. Barry Slimm.

The Bible reveals the wonderful plan that God had intended for man. Man was God's greatest work in creation, and was given dominion and authority over all creation as God's under-ruler. In the mind of God, man's dominion and authority has never changed. The Rise, Fall, and Rise of Man reveals how the first man's decision cut God off from the affairs of man, and the progressive work of God, legally restoring man back to His original place of dominion and authority.

It is of the utmost importance that believers come to understand and live in the realm of the Spirit exercising their God given dominion and authority over the illegal works of Satan and his hosts of darkness as we work together upholding and enforcing what "Jesus began both to do and teach."

This six-lesson series is an International College of Ministry course for both Theology and Ministry majors.

Living & Moving in the Prophetic is taught by Gordon Noice, BA Th.

As we read the Gospels, we see how Yeshua (Jesus) frequently made time to get away and be alone with His Father. From the Old Testament to the Psalms and into the New Testament, this six-week class is designed to provide the student with a Biblical and modern history of prayer and intercession. We will discuss the prayers of the Prophets, the Disciples, Jesus, and look at some examples of early Church and contemporary prayer warriors.

It has been said that a Christian without a prayer life has no life; if you’re looking to enrich your relationship with God and show others the benefits of consistent conversations with Him, dive into the deep end of prayer and intercession with us!

This six-lesson series is an International College of Ministry course for both Theology and Ministry majors as well as Christian Counseling majors.

Discerning the Holy Spirit 255x225 01VID - Discerning the Holy Spirit

Course Number: MN 3075-30
Discerning the Holy Spirit, ICM Course
Category: Theology & Ministry
VID - Video Course
Credit Hours: 3hrs

It has never been more important to discern the direction of the Holy Spirit. When discerned correctly, the Holy Spirit will guide a person into abundance, healing, and personal satisfaction. However, the key is to be able to sense him. Unfortunately, many people claim the Holy Spirit guides them when he is not. As a result, some people grieve the Holy Spirit, causing a feeling of lifelessness.

The most important thing for a ministry or your personal life is to discern the Holy Spirit. Proper discernment can make the difference between joy and despair, success or failure. In this course, you will learn how to determine what is of the Holy Spirit and what is not. This six-lesson course will be essential teaching for all Christians, especially leaders in the church.
