Ray Self is the husband of Christie Self and has four children. He is originally from Memphis, TN. He majored in business management and anthropology at the University of Memphis. He holds a bachelor, master, and doctorate degree in Christian psychology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. He also has a second Doctorate degree in Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. Dr. Ray Self served as facilitator and on the board of advisors of Jacksonville Theological Seminary. Dr. Self has spoken at numerous conferences and churches around the nation and overseas. He has appeared on TBN and has worked in radio ministry. He has spoken at and been recognized by the Tennessee House of Representatives.
Dr. Self was the founder and senior pastor of Spirit Wind Ministries Church, Olive Branch, MS. He is the president of Spirit Wind Ministries Inc. which is the 501 (c) (3) covering for the International College of Ministry He was the founder of the School of Prophets (Olive Branch, Ms), Director of Christian Counseling Center (Olive Branch, Ms) and is the former senior pastor of Faith Victory Church and Christian Academy, Covington, TN. Dr. Self is also a former instructor with Memphis Bible College and Spirit of Excellence School of Ministry, Memphis, TN.
Ray Self now resides with his wife in Winter Park, FL.
