Areas of Concentration

An area of concentration is a concept that allows the individual student to customize his or her ministry degree program to better fit what the Lord has called them to do. Our ministry degree program is a general program that includes theological studies, biblical studies, Christian counseling and practical ministry courses. This program is designed to give the student a solid foundation for a ministry career or for those desiring a deeper walk with the Lord.

The student may desire to just take the various ministry related course toward their associates, bachelor, masters or doctorate degree. But, for example, if a student named John Doe feels a prophetic call upon their life they can concentrate in prophetic ministry by taking at least six prophetic courses as a part of their program (18 credit hours.) If they earn a bachelors degree by completing a total of 120 credit hours which includes life experience and transferred credits then their diploma will read - John Doe, Bachelor of Ministry with a subtitle Prophetic Ministry.

We presently offer two concentrations, Apostolic Ministry and Prophetic Ministry. We will be adding soon Evangelism, Praise and Worship, and possibly Church Growth and Development. The concept of having a concentration is designed to allow us at ICM to better equip each student for their particular ministry.
