Pastor Keith and Kellie Hodges opened the doors of Liberty Church Arab in July 1998 in a storefront building on Main Street in Arab, Alabama. Liberty has since opened 2 campuses, the Down Town Campus located at300 1st Ave NW, Arab and the Camp FIRE Campus located at 120 Kenyon Rd, Arab. Liberty Church is a fun and exciting church and is one of the fastest growing churches in Alabama with 3 services on Sunday and small group meetings throughout the week. Liberty is also a Celebrate RecoveryChurch which is a Christ-centered recovery program ministering to those who struggle with hurts, hang-ups, habits or addictions. Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday and Friday night at the Down town Campus.

Liberty Church Arab joined forces with ICM in January 2012 and has since had many graduates. Drs. Forrest and Lisa VanSandt serve as ICM campus directors and teach ICM classes on Sunday mornings as well as throughout the week with Blitz courses held quarterly. Dr. Forrest holds a bachelor, master and Doctorate of Theology. He also has served as a deacon and now serves as an Elder for Liberty Church. Dr. Lisa has a bachelor, master and doctorate in Ministry and is in the process of acquiring a doctorate in Christian Counseling. Their passion is to equip and help mature the Bride of Christ which is the Church.
