One thing, we really miss...Blessings to ICM Alumni, as we approach the Christmas season, we begin to see images of mangers, wise men, and shepherds. One thing, we really miss is the love that the Son of God had for us and the suffering that He went through during the first Christmas. Jesus left the beautiful communion that He had with His Father in heaven to be born as a baby. If for no other reason, this cost Him great suffering and was the sign of great humility. But not only that, we forget how cold, filthy, and raw this stable was. There was no room for Him in the Inn. 

During this season, Jesus comes to be born inside ‘the stable’ of broken hearts; to heal them, and show them His love. Many people are so preoccupied with the Christmas hustle and bustle that there is no room for Him in their heart. I ask each of you to re-evaluate what Christmas really means to you. It’s not gifts and food. It’s sharing love, not only with family but all the hurting people of the world. May each of each find a way to reach out and be a blessing to others.  If, in  no other way, be a blessing to ICM to give back to aid a student in hardship to be able to attend ICM. Holy Blessings to all this Holiday Season.

It was 5 yrs ago that I... To ICM students, as we approach the Christmas season, it can be very challenging for many, I can honestly say I understand. It was 5 yrs ago that I lost my son, December 30 to his tragic death right after Christmas. But, the God of all comfort has been there to constantly walk with me through the painful process over the past few years. The teachings of ICM has benefited me greatly! 

We are faced with another opportunity to pause in the midst of all the excitement, decorations, and commercialization to consider the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ and the eternal life we can find 
in Him. God loved the world so much He gave His only Son Jesus as we rejoice in the blessing of His salvation. If you need me, I am here for you in prayer, support, and/or thoughts. May God bless you and your family this Christmas season!

As we approach the Christmas season to commemorate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, i’m aware this may be a very difficult time for so many...As we approach the Christmas season to commemorate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, i’m aware this may be a very difficult time for so many for one reason or another. On December 30 of this year will mark the 5th year celebration of the tragic death of my son. At times it was painful but my heart has healed quite a bit over the last few years. I now understand what grief feels like and how the stages of the process may be different for each person. What has been beneficial to my healing is focusing on the positive things about my son that brings joy and make me smile, the good ole days; even the silly times that make me grin from within. I can’t say it was always easy and I mastered all the steps the first time. But yet, I’m so thankful to God for walking me through this painful process of loss. I’m stronger and better and grateful to be used as a vessel to aid others as they go through their process. The work and tools of  International College of Ministry have been very helpful. If I can walk with you or pray with you, let me know. I’m here for you. Trust God to lift your spirit as you go through the Holiday Season.
