This class, as all classes I have taken so far, really has affected my life and the way I see it. I realize the enemy has been very crafty at making me feel unworthy or illegitimate. I have believed lies about myself and how I thought God saw me based on certain messages that were spoken over me throughout my younger years. God created me exactly how he wanted me to be, to use the gifts and talents he has placed in me. He has given me the desires in my heart in order to advance his kingdom. I love how he loves me, validates me, affirms me, and makes my life matter. He has built my confidence in him and increased my faith and trust in him. Because of the sacrifice Jesus made for us, He has birthed in us this amazing hope. I am finding my identity in Jesus; he wants us to become like him, a mirror of his unconditional love and justice. I can apply this lesson to my ministry in that I have learned that we are valued and loved and gifted by God for his pleasure. The people of God need to hear this and get this into their spirits. If we really believed and lived this, there is nothing we could not accomplish for the Lord. The kingdom of God is at a place right now in this season where we are faced with so many lies from the enemy. This encouragement and truth of how God sees us is what will help us fight and be victorious. We belong to Him; we are his creation and his children. It is not about us; it is all for God's glory and we are not illegitimate children. We are fathered and adopted into the kingdom of God. I intend to make this message known to anyone who will listen. God does not want his children to live beneath the thumb of the enemy. It is time for God's people to be set free, to become who we are called to be, each one of us, and each one of our callings, working together to build the kingdom of God.
