Help - Frequently Asked Questions
What degrees and programs do you offer?
We offer Associates, Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees in Theology, Ministry, and Christian Counseling. We also offer a ministry license and ordination program.
Who is International College of Ministry?
We are a Florida based seminary in compliance with Florida State statutes as a religious institution (Section 1005.06 (1)(f). We are Bible based and interdenominational in scope. We are Holy Spirit filled and teach the inerrancy of scripture and the absolute authority of Jesus Christ. We have schools in many U.S cities and in three nations. We have been in existence for over seven years. Our first campus was started in Memphis, TN and was previously known as The School of the Prophets. We have a reputation for excellence and a powerful anointing in teaching and training.
Is the school accredited?
In the United States of America, jurisdiction over degree-granting institutions rests with the individual state governments. Compliance with state regulations is the necessary condition for offering a legitimate, legal American degree. International College of Ministry grants degrees under the authority of the Florida Department of Education Commission for Independent Education in compliance with Section 1005.06(1)(f), Florida Statutes. The State of Florida does not require regional or theological accreditation. There is secular education and there is religious education. Secular schools seek secular accreditation, and sacred schools receive sacred accreditation—each by their own peers. Religious institutions need no secular accreditation because they offer no secular degrees. We will be happy to send you more information on this topic.
What does it cost?
We charge only $75 per credit hour. Most courses are valued at three credit hours. The complete cost of your degree will depend on the total number of hours you will need to take minus any previous education and experience credits you may receive. Other than tuition, there is a $100 registration fee, graduation fee, and course material fees.
Do you have financial aid?
Financial aid is normally for secularly accredited schools. We are not eligible for student loans but some private agencies do make loans for seminary education. Most of our students prefer our zero interest payment plans. We will work out an amount that is right for you and your educational timeline and automatically debited the agreed upon amount from your checking account on a monthly or weekly basis. Receive a fifteen percent discount if you choose to pay in full at the time of enrollment. We can also make personalized financial arrangements if necessary, so do not hesitate to contact us.
